MASSAGE THERAPIST | LMT
I first discovered the powerful impact of massage therapy when a relative who had opted out of having surgery for scoliosis to align her spine began to teach me some massage techniques I could perform on her to help alleviate her discomfort. Gradually, over many visits together, it became evident that the directed touch was making a noticeable difference in her pain levels and was improving the quality of her life. I knew then that I had stumbled on something at the right time and place in my life, and so I decided to pursue Massage Therapy as a profession. I received my certification at Mecca School of Massage in Indianapolis, IN and soon after moved back to my home state to practice the profession I love so much.
Over the past decade, I have focused on therapeutic massage, including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and sports massage. I also find craniosacral therapy inspiring and look forward to collaborating with colleagues who can support my growth in these modalities.Besides loving my job, I also love a good book, my family (including our fur babies), and walks outside. It is a true blessing to live and work in Pagosa Springs, where my wife, son, and I can be close to family and lay down our roots. With that, it is my deepest desire to contribute positively to our clients' well-being alongside such a great group of practitioners at All About Day Spa, and I look forward to growing with the community.

Experience…
It was working at a local natural health food store 25 years ago, helping people find supplements, natural body care products, and nutritious whole foods, where I discovered I wanted to support people in their health and wellness. My plan was to practice massage while I put myself through Naturopathic school, not knowing quite yet just how much I would end up loving bodywork.
I completed a 700-hour certification program at the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2002. After three years in practice, I returned to school (2005- 2006) for specialized training (an AOS) in Advanced Neuromuscular and Cranio-Sacral Therapy (and more). I’ve been studying and mastering my craft ever since.
For 17 years, I had the honor of serving many clients in the western suburbs of Denver, Colorado. In the summer of 2019, my husband and I had the opportunity to move our family across the state, where we both set up shop in the beautiful mountain town of Pagosa Springs.
In December 2022, I received my certification as a Holistic Nutrition Consultant at the American College of Health Care Sciences — one more accomplishment in the direction of my ultimate goals.
A little bit about me…
I’m a third-generation Coloradan, raised in the western suburbs of Denver. When I’m not at work or homeschooling my youngest 2 boys, I am likely walking with my dog Dexter, soaking in the hot springs, reading, writing, listening to a podcast, or stretching in my aerial silk hammock. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, dancing to live music, and hiking.I am just as passionate about bodywork as ever. It is important to me to take care of my own body so I can continue to provide high-quality bodywork for many years to come — and hopefully pass on what I’ve learned to the next generation of bodyworkers.
